You will be the senior technical leader for a set of strategic public sector accounts in Japan, using your executive‑level technical credibility and government expertise to shape and execute their data and AI strategy. Reporting to: Director, Field Engineering, Japan The impact you will have Own technical strategy for key Japan public sector customers, defining the target architecture and roadmap for their Databricks‑based data and AI platform. Lead solution design for priority government use cases (e.g., citizen 360 and eligibility, program analytics, smart infrastructure, cybersecurity, fraud/waste/abuse). Design for security and compliance , ensuring architectures meet public sector expectations on data residency, access control, governance, and auditability. Turn pilots into platforms , linking Databricks to visible mission outcomes and using those wins to drive expansion across bureaus, departments, and levels of government.
