About this role
Description from A.I.M., Action in Marketing B.V.'s career page
AIM builds autonomy for the real world - robots that move mountains. Our systems fuse software, hardware, robotics, and mission-critical infrastructure into ruggedized, safety-critical machinery operating on jobsites across the world. We replace decades of manual, error-prone, high-risk work with intelligent machines that reshape how earthmoving is done. Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and full structure integrations across AIM's hardware programs โ from small electrical sub-assemblies through PCB integration to final unit build-up and functional test. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final structure integrations per engineering drawings and work instructions. Assemble PCB assemblies into product enclosures; install wire harnessing, cables, and components. Install fasteners, brackets, and hardware to specified torque values; verify structural mounting and alignment. Use precision hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and calibrated measuring instruments for assembly and inspection. Set up and conduct functional testing of built hardware โ instrumentation setup, test execution, data capture, and teardown. Read and interpret layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, and parts lists. Identify and troubleshoot assembly defects; perform rework and re-assembly to correct non-conformances. Support development of prototype test
