Our Story: Why We Built CubeA

We were tired of the best jobs never showing up on LinkedIn or Indeed. So we built something that finds them.

The jobs you never see

If you've job-hunted in the Netherlands, you know the routine: refresh LinkedIn, refresh Indeed, see the same roles from the same big companies. What most people don't realise is that those boards only show a slice of the market — the companies that pay to post there.

Plenty of great roles never make it onto a job board at all. They live on the company's own careers page, get filled through word of mouth, and quietly disappear. If you're not already checking 100 company websites by hand, you never see them.

That gap is why we built CubeA.

What we do differently

Instead of re-listing what's already on the big boards, we crawl 1,000+ Dutch company career pages every single day and surface the roles the boards miss — including what we call hidden gems: jobs from smaller companies that rarely, if ever, reach LinkedIn or Indeed.

A few things we care about:

  • Free for job seekers. No paywall, no account required to browse.
  • You apply directly with the company. No recruiters in the middle, no markup, no middlemen.
  • Honest labelling. A "hidden gem" has to actually be hard to find — we deliberately exclude the big staffing agencies and job-board reposts, because one mislabeled listing costs more trust than a hundred real ones earn.

Where we're headed

CubeA is early and we're building in the open. Next up: better ways to follow the companies and roles you care about, and email alerts so the right hidden jobs come to you instead of you hunting for them.
