Where the hidden tech jobs actually are in the Netherlands
We crawl 1,000+ Dutch company career pages every day. Here's what that reveals about the roles that never make it to LinkedIn or Indeed.
The job boards only show you half the market
LinkedIn and Indeed are useful, but they share a blind spot: they mostly show jobs from companies that pay to post. A huge number of roles — especially at smaller Dutch companies — only ever appear on the company's own careers page. No board, no recruiter, no feed. If you're not manually checking dozens of company sites, those jobs are invisible to you.
So we built a crawler that checks them for you. Every day, CubeA scans 1,000+ Dutch company career pages and pulls in the roles directly from the source — currently around 13,000 live jobs, including ~1,100 "hidden gems": roles from smaller companies that rarely surface on the big boards at all.
Here's what that data shows about where the hidden work really is.
Hidden roles cluster in a handful of cities
No surprise that the big tech hubs dominate — but the concentration is striking. The clear leaders for open tech roles right now:
- Amsterdam — by far the deepest market.
- Utrecht — punching well above its size.
- Eindhoven — the Brainport effect is real, especially in hardware and engineering.
- Rotterdam — smaller, but a steady stream of roles.
If you're open to relocating within the Netherlands, widening your search beyond Amsterdam opens up a meaningful chunk of roles most people never look at.
